Hestia is lowk having a valid crash out. To anyone without knowing context they would just believe she's crazy, but she's been through so much and seen so much, its only reasonable why she would react that way.
In her first life as Hestia, she lived a life of ease just admiring Kale from afar, appreciating his existence as a fan. When Kale got his heart broke, she stumbled across him in his devastated state, him being someone she loves she couldn't stand it and would've done anything for him.
^^^
This being put to place, she forgets that her life as Hestia and being within a novel is now her reality. She still believes that Kale, Diana and I forgot the crown prince name are actual people now.
___
Hestia doesn't realize how her actions are _real_ now. She's making her life dedicated to Kale that she's forgetting how to live her life. She's blinded by the story and can't see that she can make her own future.
___
I can only imagine how devastated Kale is right now, now knowing whats going on in Hestias mind, wondering why she continues to go so far for him, being so depressed to the point she thinks of doing you know what to herself. He probably sees a projection of himself in her and wants to help her, but she's so closed off and blinded by her hate for Diana and the Crown Prince she forgot that she initially wanted Kale to be happy.
___
Its only valid for her to be reacting like this, transmigrating to a world in what was a novel, seeing the one you love die, and the "culprits" behind it continue to lead a lovely life not knowing they were the cause. She just wants them to acknowledge it, the fact that they hurt Kale, and they didn't do anything.
___

ANYWAYS, this was my take on everything. I love this series it really brings into light the effects people have on you, how different situations effect different people and how severe the cases can go. Interpretations to their own.
