I think he got one of the worst isekai situations, there is no respite, every area is horrible and everyone is trying to kill each other I used to get anxiety reading this but now I’ve accepted that it will always be bad for this guy,
I genuinely don’t know how society works in this story when every level of authority is corrupt, how is there any order other than fear mongering. Especially because we are now in a more “lawful” are but it’s just as bad as the rest. I would have left the minute that bitch from the guild said “do 10 more of these deadly quests and I MIGHT approve you to be S Rank”. FOH.
