Kinda true, she kinda scared of MC.. for nonsense.
She think that MC will hurt her son cause of what she did for "selling" her to the emperor. Point is she is kinda shameless.. "ohhh im the victim cause i get betrayed by the emperor even after i betrayed my own daughter and her dad" thats her mindset.
Thankgod her husband has common sense, he knew that shes kinda cray cray, so he took their sons and run away.
Her fate? Dunno, last time we saw her is when shes getting busted
You forgot something else that we saw before, not only did she snitch on them but she also kidnapped her kid daughter abd gave her to the emperor in her first life, that's hpw she dies and the dad gets heartbroken, so yeah she's a hoe and deserves way worse shit to happen to her personally. F her.

It's already 3am and I just cannot go to sleep without knowing what will happen to the mother.
So I was on Ch. 37, and just saw the mother, and I really got annoyed with her. So I researched about some spoilers about her in the novel. It is said that her son will get conscripted (the emperor broke his promise), and she (the mother) would be abandoned by her family/husband (?).
It was also stated that mc and her mom won't really have a good relationship in the future.
And my take from the spoiler is that she really didn't care for our mc. So, I guess, she deserve it(?)
