Really? To be honest I thought it was very... Human of him. He is half human half demon. He lived his entire life with prejudice and scorn of others. Let's not even mention that romance of century that seems to have ended tragically and probably left /him/ with conviction that demons can't love. It's probably something he told himself, again and again. He probably needed something to blame for this failure of love. Especially with how his ex reacted when he first saw him again? Yeah.
So it feels natural for me that he'd be the one who'd be /the most/ stubborn one about princess of demons ever caring for human. And add to that, we don't even know the history of his birth. /Was/ it another love story? ...or was it another crime committed by demon? Either way...
Yeah.
Yeah.
So that's my opinion at least. (Also, I don't understand why this story has such a low rating. Sure, it's not on the level of 9.6 stories, but I feel like it's better than some of 9.1 ones)
The fact that a succubus understands Bella more than Jen can, who is half-human is very surprising to me. I wasn't expecting that him of all people wouldn't have understood that her human-world-invading was just a ruse to get Zanbar to quiet.
Then again, she is a succubus, so I guess it wouldn't be too far fetched that she does know people's emotions and behavior since she deals with romantic and and intimate interactions all the time.
