What he said gave it away but wow! What I want to know is what are his intentions?

No, he's not really evil. Like the new chapter implied he is a regressor, I don't remember why but his life is tied to Camilla. So every time the ogCamilla dies, he dies too. In his other timeline he doesn't know why he always dies suddenly and any changeshe does results in him dying so that's why he do intrested in this Camilla because she caused alot of changes that never happened before in previous lives.
Ps. He does own the assassin organization that targeted Camilla in the previous chapters and he was acutally the one that attacked her before her bio dad helped her. He later realised that she was his step-sister and that why he beheaded the count who requested the assassin guild to kill her.
