I think she thought that after she sent him back she’d be able to change the future shown in the prophecy so that’s why she wanted to send him back

If she fails, the confinement future she saw will happen and the island will disappear. But one of the failure conditions is to send him back...so she thinks that sending him back is the correct method??? I'm confused.
