i can relate so much to tabata as someone who's not conventionally attractive and keeps to herself. i just feel happy that there's representation for girls like me bc it's always hard to relate to romance mangas for this reason :))) at the same time, i feel kinda sad bc in reality i probably never will find a lover similar to ueno or anyone for that matter hahahahaha
my favorite thing would be how the mangaka wrote character developments, especially with ugui-chan !! i love how gotanda and her relationship started as genuine friendship without any intention to become romantic but somehow you just can feel their chemistry. it doesn't feel forced but rather, their introduction as a side couple is pretty smooth. ugui really reminds me of teruhashi but she's much more realistic to the point that it's actually uncomfortable reading the scenes where grown ass men forces her for a date :/ it's just how it's like in real life and it's pretty disgusting.
