No matter how much you hate the character, if they are 50% of what the story is about, a background is due. The story can't just be about chasing love, and although his pitiful past doesn't change his jack ass actions, it is an explanation or exploration about him. The same way I would read and respect Dan's story about himself and self healing (without having to bring up jaekyung groveling because this ain't about him or their relationship, they are individuals first and foremost).
Readers nowadays are so disappointing. That's how every story goes, reminiscing past moments. Why can't you set aside your anger for the ml and read appreciatively the flow of the story? The past and the present of a person is different. So shut the fuck up with ur all naggings coz it's annoying as fuck!
