Hmm I don’t really remember them even mentioning this option but she seems to hate city guys because of what happened to her mom. Doesn’t necessary mean she hates the city. I think it might’ve been worthwhile to show that he’s different from the rest but I think they wanted to just end the series quickly so idk why you talking like it’s set in stone. It’s mostly smut with some plot and not plot with smut if you know what I mean lol
If I was him and after the one year apart I would’ve just told the grandma to come with us lol. Seems like he has a lot of money to cover living expenses for both of them
