What some people can't understand is the bottom's desire to be treated almost as if the top *doesn't* care during a scene means means that at no point in a scene is he actually being *disrespected* by the top. And this is shown so clearly as you said, by the top/Dom's care for him everywhere outside of a scene. Not once has he displayed the typical trope you see in Doms of bdsm comics of being controlling, selfish, ECT. It's good to see but some will always be unhappy lol
