Can you tell me why his sister treated him like that??
Was it a misunderstanding or did she really get insecure?

if i remember correctly it's because her position as a monarch started to become shaky bcs khalid was gaining too much notoriety with his military campaigns n stuff, so with she caved to the pressures from the imperial (?) faction and decided to essentially banish him from the kingdom to get rid of him as a threat to her position and stabilise the kingdom (i might be getting some stuff wrong but that's the gist of it)
