The bottom reincarnated and is cold toward the top because the top looks exactly like his lover from the his past who was an obsessed psychopath. Despite being cold initially things happen that lead the bottom to slowly open up and start trusting the top again. At one point, they capture and reprimand someone who appears to be the reincarnated version of the top from the past. But at the end it’s revealed that the childhood friend is actually the same obsessed lover from the past who reincarnated. And there’s like this thing where the bottom has phantom pain in his ankle cause in the past he was shot by an arrow while he was trying to escape the top.
