Since i have PhD in yappitology, let me yapp for a bit (again, it's just my wild theory and 100% not true ofc)

I noticed something so far (six chapters in)

1. It's clear that jiwon and tae-oh met in their previous life, but what i found interesting is that jiwon is a shaman (a real one) in his previous life and i think he has to perform a ritual to exorcist tae-oh (or "taeho" as in his name in previous life)

2. I think it's clear that taeh-oh or taeho is a "baek horang" or white tiger in his previous life, beside the "ho" (호) in taeho name and "ho" in horang (tiger) have the same hangeul (korean alphabetical system), if you read it thoroughly, you notice a few panels that hinted him is a white tiger for example: https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/the_thread_never_burned/uu/to_chapter-1/pg-22/

3. Based on my first and second point, i think another hint could be the first chapter, you can see taeho got fangs ( https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/the_thread_never_burned/uu/to_chapter-1/pg-4/ and claws https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/the_thread_never_burned/uu/to_chapter-1/pg-5/ could also be another hint that he indeed is possessed by a white tiger spirit. Also jiwon addressed him as "my taeho" "my only God" if you familiar of how sacred "white tiger" in Chinese mythology, it's quietly well-known too that, white tiger is also part of the four of mystical creatures (vermilion bird, black tortoise, azure dragon)

4. It could be (or not) that Jiwon (in this current life) is also possessed some spirit (idk what is it btw), it hinted at chapter 2. I think it's either samsin halmeoni (goddess of childbirth and fate in Korean mythology) that visited him https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/the_thread_never_burned/uu/br_chapter-285939/pg-4/ or could be he's actually indeed have spirit that possessed him but he reject it that's why he hasn't "unlock" his full potential yet. For shaman sometimes they got "called" and possessed by some spirits. But if someone "reject" them and not "fulfilling" their duty, it could make the spirit get angry too. Or another theory is, the spirit won't possessed him in this lifetime cause he has bad karma from his previous life, that's why the samsin halmeoni the one that gave him the candy, feel pity and feel sorry for him. Idk if it's really samsin halmeoni or spirit that actually possessed him.

5. I think Jeong Jaeseok could also entangled in this whole "past-current" life. And made jiwon (previous life) had to do that to the previous-life tae-oh/taeho. A.k.a jaeseok could be the one that make previous-life jiwon "betray" taeho.
