I lowkey think Ian developed feelings for Sol during his whole stay because when he thought back, Sol was the only one actually caring about him, no? And he is the only one who understands that the mana thing isnt a curse but his power. Plus I dont think from what ive seen that Ian really trust Cardinal Brixton that much compared to the first few chapters. P.S. I think he 'might' be regaining his memories constantly even if its not showing up as a chapter if you get what I mean. Pls correct me if im wrong!

No, literally the whole point of conflict was Ian after falling in love with the Emperor, finding out he is used as a replacement. He is being treated as Brian by everybody, but can’t recall any of the memories from his past life, and is still Ian. I didn’t think anybody would bring up events from the first season haha, it was so long ago, I am focusing on the recent conflict that suddenly disappeared, because the Emperor said that he doesn’t care.

But I feel like somehow he isnt really being treated as Brian in Sol's perspective because although yea he wants him to regain his memories, I still think that he doesnt really see Ian as Brian you can tell that Sol isnt trying to 'FORCEFULLY' bring his memories back. But I need you guys to understand that Brian died in Sols hands and that pain of losing a loved one that has been with you like years and years is really heart wrenching you cant expect Sol to like move on. I get it, its been like what a millennium years since that happened but Brian thought him so many things he never knew nor cared for. I could name so much but its boring to read so I wont be doing that. Brian was like his mentor or lets just say teacher and the person that thought him died in his hands. Sol literally wouldnt be king if it werent for Brian honestly speaking. Im not saying Sol isnt capable of being king but he has that position because Brian helped him achieve it even though he probably never wanted that role. So you see how Brian made a huge impact on Sol so much so that he cant bear to see Ian not remembering him at all. (Sol literally hides his emotions *thats what I think*) Plus Brian helped him with other things like trade while literally torturing his own body. While I agree its weird how Ian suddenly fell in love with Sol but I dont think blaming Sol and (the ones who have been with Sol while Brian was still alive) is necessarily him being 'selfish' for his own needs and a replacement of Brian. And like this is my personal opinion but feel free to disagree, I really hate how Cardinal Brixton like manipulates Ian into thinking he was a holy figure in his life, yes he did save him but he literally tricked Ian into thinking Archaia (idk if the spellings right) was the one behind the human trafficking which I assume they arent behind it. Btw all of this is my perspective of the story (it might be a bit rusty since I read more than 4/5 of the story quite long ago. Dont bash me even if this isnt what you think your understanding of the plot is. Im just stating my opinion and I dont agree nor disagree with what you said I just felt like sharing how I felt with this whole story. Anyways I hope the author rest well and dont rush deadlines which I think its impossible because they ALWAYS rush the deadlines on manhwas haiz. Love you guys and once again feel free to leave your opinions!!!
Somebody explain to me why Ian suddenly wants to have sex with the Emperor, even though he knows he sees him as Brian's replacement and Ian still didn’t become Brian. This doesn’t make sense. The Emperor said he didn’t care that he doesn’t remember, but that doesn’t mean shit. It’s been clear that Ian not remembering can’t stop the Emperor from using him.
