Ofc this is fictional and we romanticise it because we know that it’s not real, but in real life we should never be afraid to report such assholes/scum of the earth/worse than than the devil himself to the police!!
Maybe don’t threaten to do it in front of the aggressor like Rin did in chapter 5 because you can’t predict how they might react, but don’t let such gaslighting tactics work against you. No matter what, you should always try to protect yourself. The police should have provisions to ensure that any evidence (ex. Videos or photos) stays classified. Embarrassment from the police using your intimate photos (taken without your consent) as evidence is temporary and the pos staying behind bars and away from you and any other potential victims is (should be anyway) forever. Stay safe gang, there will always be someone who’s willing to help
