I’ve already read it, but now seeing the full sequence of Yoshiki almost giving up and seeing the original Hikaru again in the afterlife —yet deciding to fight against it because of his promise to take Hikaru to a bakery and basically reconstruct a new life together— is just so tender and powerful. Such a mundane wish, but it’s enough to be a reason to keep on living since it was shared with his special someone. I feel like a proud parent lol
