i feel like Aliche marrying the emperor is not even needed. it's just redundant. Emilia has already made the plan first with the mage to get a cure for Liliana. So whether Aliche married the emperor or not, I think Emilia and the mage (sorry his name is difficult lol) will still find a way to research on Liliana's sickness and cure. They're even giving her potions already even before Aliche met the emperor.. so their contract marriage was unnecessary for me. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 plus given that the mage seems to have a soul oath with Andrea (the brother) related to Liliana, I really think the mage is enough. He's the only one looking really for the solution anyway, the emperor feels more like just a political support..which I think would be given (marriage or not) since he's also under soul oath to protect the sisters.
