I don't get it. Jiwoo can't fight to the max because he won't kill. So what's his goal? These "duels' are useless for Jiwoo's growth. He is still looking at his opponents as "heirs". Not an enemies. Jiwoo gains more xp fighting assassins.
Also, I get it. Jiwoo has to take the attacks to learn. But to start out weak EVERY SINGLE TIME? When will this trope end?!

Well it is just a suggestion, you can leave it as that or do yourself a favor if it really disappointed you, I know that it is not a hate comment since I saw many like you that are getting bored with the story and it is understandable.
