I see your point but on the other hand, they need to deepen his connection to Ameri now, and it needs to go beyond even his attachment to Azz and Clara, so a romance is the logical next step. The way the story is developing, I believe the author is finally moving towards the big reveal of Iruma being human, (and probably ending up in danger since the catalysts of the reveal will be the villains). When that happens, the misfit group will be shaken, and even Clara and Azz will encounter some conflict in the dealing with it. That's were Ameri comes in. She's known Iruma might be human for a very long time and she has accepted it. She will be his only unconditional support while his other friends deal with reality. But for Iruma to willingly rely on her their relationship needs to go beyond just friends that occasionally see each other. Remember they are not even classmates. Plus, I'm like 90% sure that for all his goofy demeanor, Sullivan has secret intentions with Iruma. He might need protection from his own grandfather, so Ameri who is part of a Crown family as well
(and her father who, again, already knows Iruma is a human) is the perfect choice.
yesyes I understand this and I can see this theory as possible future but I cant just get over the occasional love air between them haha but its just me. Im just anti romantic.( ꈍᴗꈍ)
Im kinda sad that iruma and ameri ship is sailing this much haha. I mean in my opinion, Iruma will just be fine without any love interest tbh. I stan ameri as an individual demon but with iruma I just feel like the vibes are wrong.
I just want to get this out of me cause I feel like Im the only one thinking this way. Kinda awkward when they have screen time together although they look cute as a friend but as a potential lovers? Idk. Maybe this is how a parent see their children grow up lol.
