Honestly I still need info whether or not Kate can even turn back cuz she was basically born as a shadow since from where she lived and born in the village there was no fairies around other than her mother who died and got infected with it while still carrying Kate for 50 years so I can speculate that the fairies infection could have spread to the umbilical cord to Kate when she was still a fetus and when she grew up it started taking effect after laying dormant for a few couple of years in Kate’s childhood days like ughh I’ve been dying to see what Kate looks like
