I think the girl might be his true “Destiny” and in his previous life in the Joseon era he changed his destiny to be with the blond dude and now something went wrong because of that. Maybe blond guy’s bad luck is tied to this as well. When he had the first flashback we saw the little version of him tie the red string around the blond guys finger and then there was something said about having to do it the right way or paying a price for interfering with destiny or something similar
anybody know what was going on with the string appearing between yeon and that girl? i’m still confused about that like was it just his imagination or the quests/boulder warning him about misfortune…?
