No they choose it. The PD or manager pitches work to the artist and they’re often sent a edited or original version of the work and they decide if theyd like to adapt the work

Hell naahhhh bro I wanted to try reading ts cause its the same artist of 'man in the mirror'. I fell in love with that manhwa for it's incredible story and art (and trying to heal from the fact it got discontinued). Somehow it downgraded with this. Tbh idk if artists are just getting paid to adapt authors' novels into manhwas and dont really get to choose so I don't wanna criticize the artist too much.
