"literally just a girl" doesn't justify participating in cheating with your sister's fiance in multiple life fimes tho. she's and adult and she made her own life choices, she can be held responsible for it.
"multiple lifetimes" that's the thing though this is her one lifetime. she doesn't have the benefit of making different choices because this is her one life every single loop. we even see her regret in one of the extra chapters with her sons, where she said if she could do everything again from the beginning she would do it differently--but she can't ever choose to change, because this is her ONE life. she made mistakes, made selfish choices in pursuit of her own happiness, and she is responsible for it, but i don't hate her. a lot of readers like that face-slapping, dog-blooded plots in these types of stories so they will be content with treating sylvia as one-dimensional as trashta, but i would rather treat her as a complicated, flawed, and tragic character (because she is tragic to me). you're free to hate her, but i think the vitriol in these comments are undeserved.
fun fact: sylvia is not real. she is just ink. people can like antagonists because they find them tragic and just as interesting as the main characters. i am engaging with her as a fictional character not as a real life woman who hurt real people

yea, same as me, but i understood that her, the character, is flawed and makes very selfish decisions, and the way i interact with the character is by criticising it.

I'm sorry if this is a little disjointed and I may be a lil late but
I hate the "this is only her first life" shit. Regardless of it being her first or only memorable life she should have the mental capacity not to do horrible things. That could've been Illyas first and only life too. Why should one person have to live their only life in misery just because another person made mistakes doing their "first time living" its just a cruel and selfish way of thinking that basically excuses the horrible things another person did on the pretense of being ignorant, giving them grace just cause they regret their actions.
Her actions still killed her sister, that is her fault.
She is not "just a girl" because someone who truly loved her sister and wished for her happiness would never do something as vile as that, just as Illya never did to her, though she very well had reason to.
I acknowledge her flaws as a human and I wont hate her just based on her mistakes, but I will not excuse her wrongdoings just because she has only lived once.
