I agree, besides it's only been a few chapters and other seems to idk if the word hate is the right term but. the story isn't half way there yet we can't just judge too quickly like why he loves her. In time we will know. Besides even if people don't interact they tend to fall in love. Hence we have "they secretly love from a far" kind of trope.
With the spoilers it is explained the reason ml acts this way but still some of us are like no and not liking it l. Just wanna say that not all ml should be the same and also not every human process the feelings same way. Maybe he's the type to fall in love easily or just the type of obsess quickly.
