These are pretty much my thoughts too. I read the novel and regretted it, can't get over the scene when she committed suicide. Just came here to check whether this is ahead of the novel's translation but unfortunately not.

IN ALL OF THE OTHER LIVES. NOT ONCE DID SHE REJECT SOHEIL. NOT ONCE. IN ALL OF THOSE LIVES, NOT ONCE HAD SHE CHOSE TO RESPECT HER SISTER'S RELATIONSHIP AND HER SISTER AS A HUMAN.

just bc the other party have their own pains and misgivings, doesn't mean what they did is justified. doesn't mean what they inflicted onto illya is okay. SHE CAN BE AS MAD, AS HATEFUL AND AS UPSET AS SHE NEEDS. her pain is also validated if you want to validate other's pains. she have the rights to wallow in self pity all she wants. she have the rights to grieve.
