I wouldn't say red flag, he doesn't do anything to put the MC in direct harm but he does and says weird questionable shit.
Yeah the top beats the bottom up in the beginning, I think when they first meet, and then later it’s better
It’s one of those stories where the pay off is worth it tho imo
