From his ears he looks more like sheep, cow or something in that direction and fleeing seems more like he looks more farm animal like, but could also be a predator. Hmmm.
Tbh your probably right with the other animal suggestions, I just thought that he will be a wolf but then again the ears doesn't seem wolfish and yeah I'm also interested on that incident too, it might have to do with the whole hybrid stuff or the fact that he had saw some info on his uncle (maybe he was a hybrid from the start but hide it with his hat but that's just a little theory)
