You worded it perfectly. Believe me, I’ve gone through the slowest of slow burns and I’m all for exploring the characters’ psyche but this one’s dragged out with no pay off. The author makes the characters go through 9848758 epiphanies, the same conversations only to have little weight in the following chapter. The cliffhangers are bait at this point
It might be the long ass upload times but I swear this feels like it's dragging on for more than it should've. There's a difference between a slow burn and just dragging the plot. Each time something happens and there's a huge cliffhanger it actually ends up not being that big of a deal and we are back to square one.
