It’s a typo. It’s missing a “don’t” so it would be “I wouldn’t have gotten so pissed if you had just told me early on that you DON’T like me or whatever” so the part where he says “I just don’t get why you’re trying to be so obvious with it now” = him acting cold and rejecting him throughout the whole day making it seem like mc doesn’t like the ml

I have the brain of a tadpole apparently cuz I thought this was a misunderstanding arc but ML said “I wouldn’t have been as pissed if you just told me you liked me in the beginning” or something like that… which sounds like he does know the MC likes him??
