I dont think people are defending this, the red flags are already there from the very start. The main reason for continuing to read is out of curiousty of how the story will unfold or maybe bc it's a bit different with the usual bl or smut... so yeah because it's pure fiction. i'm pretty sure most people who have read and are continuing to read this already know what theyre getting themselves into. Im sure you wouldnt just blindly judge some stranger just because they have/had read this type of media right?

The notion that you have to go into every piece of media and go THATS BAD is kinda dumb we know it's bad. He defiled corpses for his own selfish gain that is quite obviously bad there's no need to stand up on the bleachers and point out the obvious. Do you think if most of us heard this story in the news we'd be loving it? No we'd think hes a deranged weirdo. EXACTLY THIS. I wish most of us actually put their energy to point out problematic stuff on the things/situtations that actually deserves attention. This isn't to say you can't criticise the media you're consuming, that's normal. It's the constant preaching of "yea this is bad, you know it's bad right?" as if it isnt already obvious. WE KNOW IT IS BAD. Do we condone the bad actions presented in this piece of media? OFCOURSE NOT and most of us who are normal do still care about serious matters irl even after reading a piece of media like this.
