That's okay but he never showed he cared for MC until recently either. He bullied him a looooot tooo plus they did after fluffy head left the island. Plus yes he did rape him but fun fact consent from an intoxicated person is not consent so guess the red head also assaulted MC

Red head also kissed without his consent twice so far and has groped him. He just keeps breaking the boundaries and will eventually try to rape MC at this point. Yes, fluffy head was wrong for raping MC. But red head is also wrong for sexually assaulting MC 3 times and bullying him. What makes you think the MC is comfortable with him? The MC is so meek when interacting with red head and only speaks his mind with fluffy head, fluffy head’s goons, grandma and the old ladies. If you only focus on fluffy head raping MC once, you’re going to miss all of red flags that the red head has. Plus the red head sells drugs and is trying to rope the MC into selling! Red head is an awful influence and person. At least fluffy head wants better for him and got him back in school.

From the very first episode after season 1 ended, he has shown that he cared when he’s noticed that MC is uncomfortable when there was too many people in the room, and so red hair asked for his friends to leave to give MC some space.
Then in the next episode he punched one of ML’s goons who put their hands on MC’s shoulder when MC said to let go and he didn’t.
And once again when his friends wanted to actually bully MC, he yelled at them, and also when he somehow triggered MC’s trauma (related to how ML raped him and murdered someone btw!) Red hair first person to catch on that MC has some sort of trauma that was caused by fluffy head.
Personally I feel like all of that is some form of caring and showing that he actually has a crush on MC, yearning for his touch and attention and all yk?

Also red haired never ever raped MC, yes he gave him an intoxicated kiss which is a form of sa but nowhere near as bad as rape which is the act of forcing sex on someone.

But actually if you’re talking about consent from an intoxicated not being consent then the ML himself has also sexually assaulted and raped MC once again when he was drunk because literally in the exact chapter after Red haired guy kisses him, the ML touches and has sex with MC who is drunk, so let’s not be biased here.

Finally, I never said I believed red haired guy was the best character who should end up with MC over the ML, I simply stated in my PERSONAL opinion (you don’t have to agree) that red haired guy isn’t that bad of a guy and his actions aren’t as nearly as bad as gangster murderer rapist ML over here.

Saying I’m only focusing on ML raping MC (btw it was more than twice), I’m going to miss red haired’s red flags, meanwhile I never once stated that I thought red hair was a total green flag, I know he’s not a good guy I just don’t think his actions were nearly as bad as ML’s who’s done so much worse to MC, keep in mind ML is legit a gangster killer rapist, a gigantic red flag who has yet to repent or atone for it
