Because Chase is at least 10cm ( don't know if he is bit taller now, since the author changed the heights a bit) taller than Josh, and bodyguards if they really want to be effective have to be able to shield the person they protects with their body, so Josh is actually a bit small to protect someone like Chase.
And Chase is actually the "smallest" male dominant alpha Miller.:D The others are over 2m tall. Even if she made Chase taller than before, the others are still taller.^^
