I love your analogy so much LMAOO
Yet of course we still eat it anyway because hey, we're all masochistic here, reveling in the sweet pain we call angst. I do think I'll be putting this on hold tho, I don't think I can stand having glass lodged in my throat for MONTHS waiting for the second season ಥ‿ಥ
The author is so damn sadistic and dedicated. Other manhwas would just start from the time they've been apart and just occasionally flashback to their youth romance, but this one in particular makes us live through their happy moments in the past, knowing full well they're going to be separated. It makes it so that we have a constant foreboding feeling of dread, knowing that after their wholesome and romantic moments, they'll have to suffer unfortunate circumstances and dreadfullly traumatic experiences, as well as the hateful treatment of certain people in their lives. I applaud the author for their storytelling and masterful strategic skills in hitting people's emotions right at the gut.
God, how I absolutely hate the icky piece of shit. Judging by the fact that he has a gambling addiction, I hope he will end up as a homeless bum, with insurmountable debt so that he will likely be left to swim with the fishes thanks to loansharks. How I hope he will die alone, with nothing, not even dignity, to his name. If everyone will not forget him, I very much hope they will remember him as a good for nothing leech, an inept and utterly deplorable scum of the earth.
