It's a wild stretch in logic to think "author wants people not to read illegally -> minors might be part of those who read illegally -> author is telling minors to purchase R-rated material -> the webtoon of any author who doesn't want their work illegally read should be cancelled!!"
Holy projection, batman! It's perfectly reasonable for an author to not want their work read illegally, you just had to twist it into a way that justifies your own refusal to comply. If you're gonna read illegally, do it (we're all on this site doing the same thing, after all), but it's such a leap to try to claim the authors are somehow problematic for not liking it.

Again, never once was there any implication that minors should purchase R-rated material; you made that leap yourself and then suggested that any author who protests against people reading illegally and instead encourages legal purchase should be cancelled. Ever consider that the adults aren’t lazy but have other things they need to purchase like necessities and don’t get paid enough for frivolous spendings like webtoons? dude their comment is a general one, they didnt say "minors should buy r rated stuff!!!!!" they said that because of illegal websites, authors tend to lose revenue and dont get paid as much as they should, and so to help support the authors, we should buy the chapters
plus half the time, i dont think minors have credit cards to even purchase the chapters with ????
and as an adult, while i would love to support the authors and certainly do when i can, its not like im made of cash and can pay 24/7 to read these stories, so these help fill in when i cant ??? im not a lazy adult, its just that me needing food and housing is more important, therefore gets my money first, before i even think about buying other stuff

The webtoons should be cancelled. Most people who can't afford to purchase official chapters are literal minors or lazy adults. Encourage minor to purchase is crazy than ever.
