He repeatedly said that he has a bad feeling about the ml, he fell in the most common shit in the book. He was tough at first and then easily gave in, didn't follow his intuition when he already experienced the same shit before, so yeah he is kinda dumb but I'm hoping for a development.
that’s the point, yes he may have fell for it again but it was only because he had a little hope that thingy would be different.
why are people calling the mc dumb?, genuinely how was he supposed to know + he had been left alone by family already and probably just wanted to believe the words of others for once but he was NOT dumb, he stood up for himself and didn’t runaway from any problems, but again he just didn’t want to believe the ml was a bad guy even though he already knew it
