I've thought about this theory too when Are was praying at the anonymous grave and Patrick said his ears are itching and felt like someone is calling him. Patrick is definitely that "founding hero", I'm curious how he became like that..we didn't get his backstory but I bet he got saved somehow by Swallow and dedicated to following him...and I can't wait to see Are becoming another Lackey for Swallow. it seems that he got Swallow's interest. I'm also curious about the motives of the Emperor.
What if patrick became a skeleton cuz devourer curse, i mean it stated his grave never been opened, and then now its the commander turn. Imagine him being on the enemy side that wooin must kill humzz
