No it's not just you. Normally, I'm okay with age gaps but this is just weird. And the fact that at different points, they've both had flashbacks to his childhood? It just gives me the heebie jeebies.
Honestly, I wouldn't have minded if it had him falling for her because of misplaced/misunderstood affection and her continuing to see him as a younger relative. That would be understandable and acceptable. He's had so little actual affection in his life that he mistakes platonic affection being shown to him as romantic. As long as it was handled in an adult and mature way, it could be a way for both characters to grow. He learns about platonic and familial affection and she learns about boundaries and no longer treating a grown adult as a child.
Cause that's also weird to me. I'm 60+ chapters in and half the time, instead of romantic, it feels like she's treating him like a child. Honestly, at this point, I don't want ANY romantic relationships. The only ones that actually felt built (if a bit cliche) was Cesar & Julie, and Bella & Lloyd. The author can build up background relationships but they're far more interesting than the main couple.
The only reason I have been okay with it is because they're technically the same age now since she leapt through time and wasn't just frozen in time.
The reason I'm NOT okay with it is because its his mother's heart and THAT makes shit very weird because organs remember.
The mc falling for the Demon guy is as weird as she falling for the ml. Let's not forget the demon guy also took care of her while she was a child amongst side the witch.
For me, the ML is weirder than the demon. I still think both are weird but she literally held the ML as a baby. That's an actual scene in the manga. Given how close she was with his mom, she probably helped with minor things raising him up until he was a toddler. This is some Twilight levels of weird. Grandpa or literal baby, either option sucks. And she can't even pick the only "normal" guy around her, her friend, because he legit sees her as a substitute for her brother. At this point, she should just stay single cause every man around her is cursed.

Idk but yall its just weird to me that the ML was the child she used to take care of when he was younger.. i cant help getting weirded out over every intimate scene they have together, it would make sense if she got with the demon guy not bella’s child. I get he’s grown now and time has gone by, but its the fact she took care of him when he was just a baby…idk yall what do you guys think, just my opinion btw
