I get what you are saying bc I don't really shipp her with the ml but at the end of the day her husband main goal was to destroy her family for his own benefit, and he does not really love her but the idea of her :/ and even if they had a child I think it would have complicated their situation, because she would have a kid with a man that wants to destroy everything she loved.

Even if he didn’t have this mission, he wouldn’t have been a good husband. He never needed to have 7 mistresses yet he did. Only one of them (Olivia) was needed for the operation canary but the others were not. He is someone who lacks empathy so FL would have never been happy with him.

Yeah real cheating. The webtoon is good though but some people are being delusional (like here) to think that FL's husband "could have been" someone good IF this or IF that. They're saying that because they don’t like the actual ML, but I think he's decent. Worth letting it marinate for a while imo
As I read the novel it makes me sad to think that they could’ve had a great marriage… they were both attracted to each other. The husband cared for her in his own stupidly clumsy way but he prioritized his duty over his wife plus he Neglected her and didn’t care about her reputation. And now he’s gonna go full yandere on her because of his own selfishness and obsession. Tbh this is my first time not loving the “actual” male lead. He is alright… not like how I was fond of Heinry (remarried empress).
