First, Dodam is one of the best MCs I’ve encountered hands down. The story was really great, but somehow for me, the main characters took the backseat in the latter part because the story directed me to focusing too much on Jae-I. I feel like he was given too much of a spotlight that it left me rooting for him more and wanting HIM to have his happily ever after more than Dodam and Juwon. So much so that the ending felt so unsatisfactory for me. I really wanted to focus more on the main characters but at the end, I just wanted Jae-I to be happy because the story made me feel that he was victimized too much, that everyone hated him for no reason, and that he’s the one who deserves to be happy the most. And somehow I hate that. I want secondary characters to be secondary and the main to be the ones in the spotlight, you know what i mean? bcoz at the end of the day, the MCs matter most. But overall, this was really a great read! One of my best reads so far. Highly recommended.
