i mean, as someone with low empathy and still healthy irl life, it sounds pretty normal to like grotesque or "uncomfortable" things, horror media, r18 content, (even for no apparent reason or context) doesn't make you a monster for enjoying the safety of fictional content, at the end of the day it's more about if your morality caries over to something that isn't alive (ie. animals and other humans), and if it doesn't, it's not the end of the world
more 2 cents for u ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

One of the main points of the story is that the main characters are not goody two-shoes driven by morals. Both of them are okay with violence specially if it's towards the ones that harm them. I get that personally it wouldn't be something you would do. But with respect to the manhwa, it makes sense that the father is getting an ending worse than death. If it truly does bother you enough to keep you up at night, then perhaps these types of protagonists aren't for you. This isn't a story that is meant to be morally upright.

You are absolutely right! My comment ended up too rigid sounding. I was trying to write something similar to your comment but couldn't figure out how to write it.( I struggle with words ). Thank you for your 2 cents. I appreciate it.
And I hope this reaches OP, our brains are super complex, some times it isn't hypocrisy just nature and its weird ness
Maybe I'm an empath or whatever tf y'all be saying, but his dad becoming a sex slave kinda makes my skin crawl and doesn’t sit right wimme. Like does anyone really deserve to be stripped of their bodily autonomy and raped?
.... but then again, tbh, if a mf sold me off and made my life fucking hell on earth irl, I'd prolly do some heinous and inhumane shit to get back at them too so idk.
I'm prolly just a hypocrite ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
