Chiyoung:
Had a nut job father who warped his hormones, driving Chiyoung to become the enforcer, which Chiyoung DID NOT want. He wanted to be the leader, but because of his father, he and other pups were put into the training way too young. Then, when he completed training, he went back for his sister's birthday, but was ostracized/shunned. But before that, when he found out that these 'friends' had been placed there by his psycho dad. He had a hormone swing and nearly killed his friends, two he maimed, one so badly, he was paralyzed.
. That's why blonde and sister hate him, but they brought it upon themselves.
Blonde can't accept that and has tried to kill Chiyoung several times. His sister was their dad's favorite, and as Chiyoung killed their father, she hates him for that and because he nearly killed blondie's brother. Became a gang boss/enforcer, started gambling and met Heeseong at his gambling den.
Had a hatred of the den's manager, who was always sending Heeseong on drug deliveries, and because of something never explicitly explained, he teams up with Heeseong to combat their mutual enemies. But there's a guy who's got it bad for Heeseong, who conspires with Heeseong's 'brother.' It's truly disturbing.
But before that...
Heeseong is stabbed in his leg and Chiyoung finds him, wounded. He rehabs in Chiyoung 's house and Chiyoung begins catching feelings. It takes Heeseong longer to catch feelings. Heeseong escapes and goes back to his 'brother ' who sells him to the guy who covets Heeseong.
Eventually, he finds Heeseong in puppy form by going to the hotel Heeseong has been taken to. Heeseong wakes up, in puppy form, in Chiyoung 's bed. From there, it gets lovelier as their relationship develops.
He knows all along that Heeseong is the Puppy.
Heeseong:
Sickly child. Abusive, drunken father. Abandoned by his family and found by a canine gang and worked like a slave for his 'brother,' Park Geontae. Disliked Chiyoung at the start, because he, even after being abandoned, cannot justify killing kin. Ran away from Chiyoung once. Thinks Chiyoung will kill him in his human form, but responds when kissed by. Chiyoung.
They become revenge partners and eventually, husbands with two children.

Can anyone explain the series of events that took place before the ML met the puppy.
Like during the enforcer training…did he kill everyone except for the small blonde one?
But then how did he force his father to resign/lose his standing as the leader? And how many times since has the blonde dude attempted to kill this Yoon Chiyoung? Like I get his family basically turned him into the Uchiha Clan and all, but I don’t get (aside from fear) why his sister hates him.
