I almost saw red when he mentioned their loose tongues and that they essentially deserved to die since they’re “extra weight”

He wants to remain honest, but it’s that honesty that’s killing her soul.
Like what’s going to happen now, will she go back to acting like a soulless doll or actually leave since why would she want to stay with someone so quick to sacrifice a whole district to stop bandits??
Her trust is gone at this point, wouldn’t be surprised if she went to the dukes and keeps herself completely closed off so no one gets hurt for looking at her wrong.
