Yeah, idk if there is a spin off story but it seems like there was some conflict regarding Kyle and nick. It’s really not explained at all what the beef between Kyle and Ash is. Maybe it’s explained more in the novel but yeah here there’s like no info about it other than there’s beef and Nicholas used to be a beta but turned into an omega
I presumed Nick and Ash were exes. Its the only reason I can assume in the chapter where Ash goes to Nick and Kyle's home for help Kyle mentions something about the way Ash used to act in relationships
That makes more sense now, I thought it was just me who thought there was not much of an explanation about it

Rereading this for the fifth time again but I still am a bit confused on Ash’s and Karlyle’s first meeting (not the time square meeting). It said that they both didn’t have good impressions of each other at first but I can’t seem to find out what happened between them at the first meeting. Maybe I’m not reading carefully enough ;;
