No worries! That plot alone would've carried since it's already diff from other isekai bl mangas. They do this in every isekai mangas ever that has potential, they just gotta add some type of weird in it.
I genuinely really wanted this to be an enemies to lovers type sh. It would've already been such a good plot with the mc being introduced to this new wrld as a total ass and coming back to redeem himself or smth. Idk how I did not clock that at the beginning when the time gap was mentioned.
