For anyone reading this. Imma remind yall theres this theory about the ennead siblings past life that also correlates with actual mythology. Since this manhwa is following actual story broadly with its own rendition I still believe we might come across that theory as well. Esp when its been sprinkled here n there in the story via murals and hieroglyphics by mojito.

Acc to mural translation the lines were vague but they talk about past life horus who we refer to as horus the elder and apparently he n Seth were in love and horus the elder steals smth (which is think might be the eye of ra? Also Seth kills horus and isis does smth to bring him back( I think by giving birth?) The og ennead had a 5th sibling which is horus it seems and now we are in present where nobody has their memory. Im a bit confused by maat n thots words regarding Osiris whether if he remembers his past life or if he was the og wadjet successor but I hope we will get there soon

I don’t remember them being in love in the actual mythology (Seth and elder Horus) they were brothers no? The story definitely getting really interesting

I immediately thought that when Thoth spoke in chap. 199 about "shutdown and restart" he might have been refering to Horus the Elder (this alleged 5th sibling that was killed and everyone forgot). : Thoth says in chap. 199 that "shutdown and restart" happens whenever someone (like the "Horus lookalike" that we think is Horus the elder, in the mural of chapter 171) who has the power of prophecy (like the "Horus lookalike" probably did, since he holds the Eye of the Sun, wadjet) somehow ends up commiting an abuse of that power by intervening too much in history (the mural in chapter 171 says the Horus lookalike saw something and tried to stop something... which can mean, that he foresaw a future he didn't like, and tried to change it). Horus says in chapter 178 that the villagers called his "lookalike" in the mural by the nickname of "The Prophet of Misfortune", which means he could give prophecies. If we take that and then what Thoth talks about in chapter 199, about how "terriffying things" happen and about how "someone ends up having to pay a price" whenever anyone with the power foresight causes the future to go awry, by telling others too much about their future... then we can conclude this could be a reference to how the "Horus lookalike" (the possible Horus the Elder) caused misfortune to himself, by causing himself to pay the price, which was the price of having something terrifying happen to him (which was, getting murdered, then erased and forgotten) after he saw something (a future he didn't want) and abused his power of foresight by trying to stop it (abusing his use of wadjet. the Eye of the Sun that gave him foresight) due to love.

Another possibility that I don't really like: that the "Horus lookalike's" tale in the mural talks about what WILL happen to Horus, in the future, and not about his past life...
