If I remember, the forks did have a sense of taste before awakening as a fork. Don’t know if it was gradual or sudden loss depends on who’s writing lol.

If you're saying forks can't taste anything aside from cakes, then how would they Ven know that they taste "sweet"? I mean... supposedly they can't taste anything right? Meaning, they wouldn't be able to distinguish or recognize flavors like regular people do. I dunno. I'm still new to this concept, so I'm kind a confused.
