I'm so confused. I got a few chapters behind on this because the whole betraying the entire country arc was a little cringe... But why would killing the enemies Commander magically make all of their troops disappear? Was he a necromancer and once he died all of his armies turn to dust? I'm so confused.

    That's just how war is sometimes. Kill their leader and they lose their heads and confidence, sometimes surrendering.

    No, that's not how it works. That's not how anything works.

    This isn't game of thrones season 8. People don't just let the person who murdered their leader go. There were soldiers in the room with him, 20 or more according to what the author actually wrote. You're saying that these soldiers watched him stab their leader in the throat and just walked away? That's not how it works.

    This is just such a cringy poorly written manhwa. Maybe D&D actually did write it.

    I think he didn't take anyone with him, when he went to trap Valery ( atleast in manhwa, we didn't see any other soldier) so I like to think he went on a solo revenge trip or whatever.
