I so agree, especially on the family part. The fact that his parents were ok with bullshit pretend act of his brother, but then they r on Luans neck for not wanting to do something..like boy bffr…
Like I would understand if the older one died then it would make some sense
It genuinely feels like a fetish at this point, the way it’s starts as a cute story, and then a long and torturous suffering of one character, and then a long mental suffering of second character…for like what?? 3 seconds of happy ending??
And I noticed a tendency for many authors to double down in their second work after the most popular one on the amount of let’s say unpleasant parts(if first was toxic, second going to be even more toxic etc)..

lol it's fine, im looking back at this and realizing that my grammar turned into shit after a while
its like the authors writing skills went down the drain while writing this. Their other works were so good but this one is actually so bad and sometimes it doesn't even make sense, not only that but I think its a waste of a plot just for it to end like that

I understand Luan, because he got back from studying abroad after YEARS, and he looks for the person he loved dearly, he doesn't remeber his face and I'm not suprised but at least he still looking (Kinda hard to remember someones face who you haven't seen in years), but then everyone there lies to him and when he thinks he found the right guy it turns out to be another lie. When he finds the actual one he doesn't believe him because he's been lied to so many times already and when he realizes its actually him, he apologizes over and over again, and Clauden just keeps telling him to forget about the past and let go, and that he confused about HIS feelings (I hate when people tell you how you feel), kinda sucks if you ask me. He kept trying his hardest to get him to forgive him and Clauden kept pushing him away. The final straw is when they both fall off a cliff and he's realizing all he's been doing is hurting him, and even tho he doesn't want to, he let's him go because he doesn't wanna hurt him anymore.
Clauden: If I were to have someone who I loved comeback after years and the first thing he does is ordering people to beat you, I would be confused, heartbroken, and depressed, and then the day after you wake up he comes to your house apologizing and saying things, I would think they were excuses, and I wouldn't believe them, even tho I love them so much. One day he suddenly forces you to live in his home with his family in the house, I would be so uncomfortable because I just wanna go about my life and forget about the trauma that was caused but instead you have to stay with the person who cause the trauma, so your only choice is to try convincing them that what they felt wasn't real and that the feelings they feel now isn't real.
Another thing is the Luan's family:
1. his brother, he just pissed me off the entire time, he obviously was faking and he just put all his work on his little brother, like if you don't wanna do something just say that? and then he's telling his little brother how to feel like don't piss me off.
2. His dad, I think he wants the best for his son's, but he actually must be blind if he can't see his son is clearly faking a sickness, and then he's telling his youngest how to feel, like stfu. And then hes confused about why he doesn't want to be Count and bringing himself into it like its bout him, no one cares if you start at 5 hes still and kid and so we're you.
3. His mom, wasn't shown much and when she was she would literally stand there and then talk about her son's feelings.
4. The Butler, Hedric? Idfk remember his name, but ik he means well, but why would you keep them letters from him, and then go tell Clauden to go visit the palace because Luan is looking for him but not tell Luan, this entire thing wouldn't have happened if he had just told Luan.
5. See how 1, 2, and 3 have something in common, yeah his family telling Luan how to feel, its just pissed me off, like a kid who had to start studying to be Count at a young age and he makes a friend who he has feelings for and yall telling him how to feel?? And the fact his parents are ignorant, like? your oldest is clearly faking and you push all his work on a kid..
This entire Manhwa even if its not finished is just Luan being told how to feel like he isn't a human being??
