yeah it's sad just like all we'll written villain. but those villain simply has a backstory arc and don't redeem themselves. they just die and that's it. This type especially a supposed ML of a poor MC, simply a bad taste in anyone's mouth for the wrong things he had done. there's no redeeming it, but of course he's gonna be the endgame after all and we can't do anything about it.
