-Magic Association want to protect Serie from the assassination.
-The Empire is not in on the Serie assassination plot, all they want is to maintain the image of the Empire. They will attack the Magic Association only if they start a fight, however, they are actively looking for the Shadow Warriors to punish them for treason.

Im not sure on the author's sched. But this is getting updated every month (before the anime came out, at least). As far as I know it did not get axe. Just that the author had their occasional hiatus due to health issue or busy due to the anime (especially we're getting the 2nd season YEY)
What are their missions again? The 3 playing teams I mean. Im too lazy to back read sorry >.<
